During our stay in Monaco, we went to visit the famous Fragonard Perfume Factory in Eze Village, halfway between Nice and Monaco. Eze is one of the most beautiful medieval perched villages overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The mother house of Fragonard is in Grasse, the world capital of perfumes since the 16th century.
In 1926, the Fragonard perfumery was named after the famous painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. Since then they have been producing perfumes, eaux de toilette and perfumed products using the traditional methods of French Perfumeries.
Visit Fragonard and you will understand the process of making perfume with an informative free guided tour.
You will discover the magic of different perfumes and their traditional techniques used in perfumery.
